!!! Moving to another ACCOUNT !!!

Hi, folks!
This Journal is primarily adressed to my watchers.

As it is already written in the title I'll move to another account. This doesn't mean that I'll deactivate this account. No, nightmare-sc4 will be here on dA parallel to the new account.
I'll use this account for my activities as contributor of groups, to submit non-photographic stuff & for features. Maybe I'll also use this account for stocks.

Long-ranging I plan to make the other account my primary account. All my following photos (and only photos) will be submitted to this account.

New Logo & Photo signature



Time is rare @ the moment.


My vacation job commenced last week and I have afternoon shift. The good thing is, that I've rest from all the others and can do my thing. But as usual everything has a reverse of the medal - freetime is a rartity during the week.



Anyways, I make good money and after this job I plan to upgrade in the matter of equipment.
I intend to supersede my 1000D with a 7D.


The 1000D is a very nice cam (for novices, like me a year ago), but way too lame @ RAW processing. It's a good model to dabble in the field of real photography and to test whether it's the right thing for you.


But now that I don't feel as a newcomer, but rather as an ambitious & developable hobby photographer, it's time to upgrade.  



I'm still not quite sure which lens I'm gonna buy, due to the fact that not every lens reaches the hight resolution of the 7D.


I toy with the idea of buying a AF 18-270mm F/3,5-6,3 Di II VC LD Aspherical [IF] Macro by Tamron for the 'daily use'.   







I wasn't very active here on dA the last time in general, but especially with submitting new things. But I wasn't lazy, just had no time to upload the stuff. So far there are 20+ more or less ready pieces waiting to be uploaded.

'Relocated Deviation' blunder

This morning I looked through my messages and read this note:


We have moved one of your deviations from Resources & Stock Images > Tutorials > Photography to Resources & Stock Images > Stock Images > Plants.

The administrator also said the following:
This image was moved out of tutorials because it's not a tutorial.


This is the deviation:
Entangled - Fibonacci by nightmare-sc4 (now in my scrapbook)

I think tutorials do not mean that everything should be explained. The amount of explanation, that is necessary depends on the audience. Tutorials often require an appropriate basic knowledge.
Of course I understand that the deviation is no tutorial in the proper sense. It's much more a hint how you could proceed when cropping your image to attain an interesting image structure.
And I found that this was most likely the proper folder to put it in, because I think people look there for new ideas, to see how artists work, or to improve themselves.
I have nothing against relocating.
But this photo is everything but no stock photo!
So I can't understand why it has been placed in this folder. I feel a bit angry that deviantart, by doing this, tells others that this photo can be used for their work, although it's not the case. Actually there is my logo in the photo, there are no comments for terms of use and I used resources from other deviants for it.
So it would have been better to put it into my scraps and let me myself find a better gallery folder, than putting it into an even more inappropriate folder.
